Release The Books!

Stephanie Myers' Twilight Series continues to endure a controversial reputation in school libraries. In support of the viewpoint of the narrow-minded and an insistence upon maintaining their stellar reputation, some major book sellers have refused to sell the series or warn potential buyers of the series "mature content". For school libraries to support the banning of books is appalling. The premise that tweens would be corrupted and pressured to engage in acts of sexualization due to the reading of the series is insidious. Rather than shy away from controversial content and endorse the scare tactics of the uninformed, please at least read the books and preview ReelzChannel's 10 Things Parents Should Know About Twilight
